Over 47,000 tons of metals traded at TME last week

TEHRAN - A total of 47,760 tons of various metals worth over 340,269,220,000 rials was traded at Tehran Metals Exchange (TME) last week.

The sum of 69,440 tons of the metals put on the market outweighed the 148,040 tons of demand for the commodities, however.

The transactions closed at the metal exchange in the past week saw a decline of 57 percent and 28 percent in terms of weight and value respectively compared to the same period the week before.
